Privacy Policy

Perlin Ventures Limited is a consulting and investment facilitation firm registered in Nairobi, Kenya, with offices in Karen. For anything in this policy, the data controller is Perlin Ventures Limited, reachable at info@perlinventures.com.

We only collect what you give us, and only when you choose to:

• Enquiries and contact forms — your name, email, phone number, country, the service you're interested in, and your message.
• Newsletter — your email address.
• Client accounts — your name, email, and the service you selected when registering for the client portal. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
• Bookings — your name, email, and chosen time when you book a discovery call.
• Client documents — files shared with us through the client portal during an engagement.

If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation happens on WhatsApp's platform and is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

• To respond to your enquiry — that's the main one.
• To deliver the services you've engaged us for.
• To send you the newsletter you signed up for. Every email has an unsubscribe option, and we only write when there's something worth sharing.
• To run the client portal — documents, milestones, bookings.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for marketing.

We use a small set of trusted service providers to run this site: Supabase (database and authentication, hosted in the European Union), Vercel (website hosting), Resend (email delivery), and Google (sign-in and calendar booking). This means your data may be processed outside Kenya, under each provider's safeguards and our agreements with them.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in to the client portal and to remember your cookie preference. We don't run third-party advertising trackers.

Under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to access the data we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to or restrict how we use it. To exercise any of these, email info@perlinventures.com — we'll respond promptly, within the timelines set by the Act and its regulations. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Kenya.

We keep enquiry and client data for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal obligations, then delete it. Access to client data is restricted, transmitted over encrypted connections, and stored with providers that maintain industry-standard security.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged to active clients directly.
